Follow-up Comment #6, bug #32482 (project octave): Another thing I notice on this bug (and maybe it should be a new bug) is that when you follow the procedure to make multiple axes on the plot, it doesn't work for another reason. It appears that Matlab makes the background of figures transparent, whereas octave makes them white. This means that you can't overlay the plots like they do and see both.
