Follow-up Comment #2, bug #34962 (project octave):

"There are still a number of differences between Octave and Matlab, however in
general differences between the two are considered as bugs."
It seams an issue to me. I noticed the different behavior while using a ML
derived code. Though it's not an issue to me since I can replace the
'computer' call by 'ismac' or 'ispc' I felt that I should report this case.
