Difficult to say. It sounds like a concurrency problem, but we have had
reports before of ccache being the culprit too. Sadly, you changed two
variables at once, so now we can't know which one of those is responsible, if
any.

I'm going to close this report. If you experience the problem again and have a
clearer idea of what is causing it, we can reopen it.
