Details:
Closing a figure after having deleted a plot object with legend entry, the
following error messages appear (with gnuplot and fltk):
error: get: invalid handle (= -33.2181)

Steps to reproduce:
figure(1);
hold on;
h1 = plot(2,3,'k*;data 1;');
h2 = plot(5,5,'ko;data 2;'); % optional
delete(h1);
close all;
