Details:

(Maybe more of a feature request, or wish, but here goes:)

Selecting text in the GUI terminal works, but leaves a few things to be
desired:

1. Selecting works by dragging the cursor over text. Once the cursor hits the
terminal limits the text should scroll to allow text outside the current
terminal view to be added to the selection.
Doesn't work in Windows (MXE) build (3.7.5), but works on Linux.

2. The other often used way to select text in many programs:
a. click somewhere in the text
b. while holding <Shift> key, click elsewhere
c. all text between both click should now be selected
...doesn't work in Windows, nor in Linux -terminal.

For reference:
both text selection methods work in the 3.6.4 MinGW binary (CLI) by Nitzan;
however method 2. only selects the rectangle between the clicks instead of all
text between the clicks as I would expect.
