Try something like:


set (gcf, "defaultaxeslinewidth", 3)
plot (1:50)
reset (gcf)


But I see now that there doesn't appear to be any "reset" in demo plotyy or
sombrero.  Should we close this bug and attach my previous changeset

PS: In the images you attached is also a difference between the line colors
for the sinusoids.
