Follow-up Comment #4, bug #41217 (project octave): I tried to set emacs-like shortcuts (actually I typed "Ctrl+X, Ctrl+F" in the shortcut dialog for "Edit:Find file"). The shortcut appears in the the menu but don't trigger anything when typed. According to Qt doc [1] this should be possible.
