Follow-up Comment #5, bug #47712 (project octave):

For the scan_file warning, this appears to be a automake problem, reports by
[1]. And also from a number of other reporsts of issues.

I have attached a patch here that adds it mxe-octave - on my computer, I am
not currently seeing the issue, so cant tell whether the patch fixes the issue
or not, so if someone else can give it a try ....
