Details:

I use Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
I shifted from Octave 3.8.0, hoping to use properly graphics.
My program was working properly before with octave 3.8.1 except for unstable
graphics with qt.
Now , with 4.02 I experience an other problem:
the disp() commands that are here and there in my program
to monitor intermediate results
do not produce any more any print on the command windows.
Only after a long period, where thre are some graphs to be plotted
there append a line asking me : (f)further .....(q) quit
I dont know what to do
I am not even sure that now I can go back to version 3.8.1
