Follow-up Comment #3, bug #48620 (project octave):

How can we add tests for this?  Also for the extra whitespace at the end?

A new specific check-X target on test/module.mk and have a shell script or
should we come up with something that will scale better if we add more tests
in the future?  I guess we should have tests for other Octave command line
options.
