Details:

For Matlab compatibility, gf types should broadcast the "^" (power) operator.



>> alpha = gf(2, 8, 301)
alpha =
GF(2^8) array. Primitive Polynomial = D^8+D^5+D^3+D^2+1 (decimal 301)

Array elements =

   2

>> alpha ^ 123
ans =
GF(2^8) array. Primitive Polynomial = D^8+D^5+D^3+D^2+1 (decimal 301)

Array elements =

   215

>> alpha .^ 123
ans =
GF(2^8) array. Primitive Polynomial = D^8+D^5+D^3+D^2+1 (decimal 301)

Array elements =

   215

>> alpha .^ [1 123]
error: operator .^: nonconformant arguments (op1 is 1x1, op2 is 1x2)
