[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #50640] display function not passing arguments

From: Markus Mützel
Subject: [Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #50640] display function not passing arguments to overloaded version of function
Date: Fri, 31 Mar 2017 10:43:28 -0400 (EDT)
User-agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:53.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/53.0

Follow-up Comment #34, bug #50640 (project octave):

While it is still valid to overload the display method, it should be made
clear that the user should overload the disp method (i.a. for reasons given by
Rik in comment #32).

The code example for the display method can almost entirely be re-used for an
overloaded disp method.

@Ernst: Can you open a new bug report for the mis-leading documentaion and
provide a changeset?
