Hi Rik,

I tested the mercurial changeset as you advised me and it stil crash with
dlmread. I got fed up with this and wiped out my cygwin install and
reinstalled it from scratch. Now it works...

Sorry for the inconvenience; still weird this bug did not occur with debug
flags turned on.

Anyway thanks a lot for your work on Octave!
