Details:

Running Windows 10 64-bit

When using octave gui, the command window will enter a new line every so often
(approximately every minute), infinitely filling the window with blank space.
Input is unaffected; commands that seem to span more than one line are treated
as if they were written on a single line. Pressing the enter key starts a new
standard ">>" input line as expected but does not solve the problem.
