Follow-up Comment #12:

(progress report)
I started overhauling most of the regular expressions.

At this point all numeric & boolean contents are catched correctly; I'm
presently stuck in the strings dept. It seems inline strings were never
processed correctly so there's an improvement looming.

It seems we now also have an option to correctly extract date/time values.
