Follow-up Comment #10, bug #44670 (project octave):
Just to mention that the function OpenMatlabFigureInOctave.m found at
https://github.com/rsnape/OpenMatlabFigureInOctave works pretty well for
opening a fig file in Octave.
The title, labels, legend, etc. are usually kept. I've seen some issues in
complicated figures, but usually this function is better than the openfig.m
provided here.
Perhaps, this function could be integrated to Octave?
