Follow-up Comment #12, bug #52116 (project octave):

Yes, I forgot; patch attached.

I'm also attaching a non-bug patch to reuse some code of one
delimited_stream::delimited_stream constructor from the other and remove a
FIXME.  (I think that's what that FIXME is about.)  However, I don't know what
script to use to test that it works.
