Update of bug #52131 (project octave): Status: None => Confirmed _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #3: I attached a patch which corrects the behavior so that when no output is requested: * "x" is returned anyway and thus assigned to "ans". This is pretty much how all functions work in Octave if they have no effect except returning a value. * defines intermediate variables.
