Follow-up Comment #2, bug #52802 (project octave):

Sail, thanks for the patch. However, I think, the minimal size is too large
now and we should not prevent the user from choosing a smaller dialog window.
I would prefer to set a default size when the settings dialog is opened and
the settings file does not yet contain the last geometry (i.e. the desired
one) to restore. 

Please find a patch that implements a sufficiently large default size.

@Rik: Are you able to resize the settings dialog instead of horizontally
scrolling the tabs?
