I am reviewing this submission now. This is an excellent contribution to the
signal package, thank you.
The demos are very useful, I will try to adapt them into %!demo blocks for use
with the demo function.
Instead of adding a new function 'validate_filter_bandss', I will probably add
a 's' option to the existing 'validate_filter_bands' function.
I expect I will be able to add this soon, with some integration effort, and
some followup work to use Octave coding style consistently and to add the
demonstrations as %!demo scripts.
