[Octave-bug-tracker] [bug #53663] File Editor search / find dialog box doesn't function well, needs restructure

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #53663 (project octave):

I have tested this on Ubuntu with Unity and KDE and on both systems the
shortcuts are working as expected, i.e.:

* Ctrl-F opens the search dialog
* Ctrl-G (or whatever is configured for this action) repeats the search even
if the search dialog does not has focus or is closed. This does depend on the
floating state of the editor.
