Follow-up Comment #12, bug #53205 (project octave):

I've checked out the default tree from Sourceforge of the signal package and
run "test buttord". On my computer passes all the tests ("31 out of 31 test
passed").

Later I will check the cheby1ord, cheby2ord and ellipord functions too.

The new Octave release (4.2.1) comes with the old Signal package (version
1.3.2) that does not contain the "s" option.
