Details:
The issue was reported in bug #48959
<https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/index.php?48959>. Even though this bug report
is now closed, the doc/Makefile was still missing in the subsequently released
tarballs 1.2.4 and 1.2.5.
Please, consider including doc/Makefile in the next release of the package.
