Update of bug #54058 (project octave):
Status: None => Need Info
Summary: break does not stop the script any more.
Compatibility issue! => break does not return from a script

Follow-up Comment #1:
The 'break' statement is only useful inside of a for, while, or do loop. If
the 'break' statement did return from a script in previous versions of Octave,
that was a bug that has been fixed.
Can you give an example of a use case where 'return' does not work as
expected?
