Follow-up Comment #10, bug #54165 (project octave):
control uses the output of mkoctfile -p BLAS_LIBS for the libs to link with.
It might be one of the few that also include fortran sources ?
CUrrently only provides a makefile for building so if it went with a configure
option it could detect a little better.
