Follow-up Comment #12, bug #54600 (project octave):

I am not sure whether the behavior of F__which__ can really be seen as a bug.
To my understanding, F.... functions from the octave API are intended to be
called from the octave thread and calling from the gui thread might lead to
unexpected behavior (please correct me if I am wrong here).
