I'm running this patch for few month now with no more crashes.
I have created and attached a changeset, could you please push it?
Here is a little example for a live audio display.
It works exactly as in Matlab now:
#example for live recording and processing
recorder = audiorecorder ();
record (recorder)
pause (1)
for i=1:60000
get (recorder);
data = getaudiodata (recorder);
#size (data)
plot(data(end-40000:end,:))
xlim([0 40000])
ylim([-1 1])
drawnow
end
stop (recorder)
