@jwe: I currently use FLTK as a single threaded reference toolkit, mainly when
something goes wrong with the default Qt toolkit and I want to determine if it
is due to cross thread communication (see e.g. bug #48273).
Since you have recently mentioned your will to remove the FLTK toolkit, Qt
single threaded would be a perfect replacement :-).
