Follow-up Comment #8, bug #55363 (project octave): Yeah I fully agree with comment #7. I can confirm that building the mex files with '-Wl,-Bsymbolic-functions' results in the variable 'myglobalvar' referring to the same single location in Octave's process space when both functions are loaded.
