Update of bug #55447 (project octave): Status: None => Confirmed Summary: mkoctfile: wrong LFLAGS warning => mkoctfile: wrong LFLAGS warning, resets LDFLAGS _______________________________________________________ Follow-up Comment #2: I also think this warning is overzealous and the logic is actually wrong now that I look at it. With the following env LDFLAGS=-Wl,--stats mkoctfile foo.cc The LDFLAGS options should be picked up and passed on to the linker. But when mkoctfile gets to the part of the code quoted by Olaf, it sees that LDFLAGS differs from the legacy LFLAGS and actually overwrites it, so my choice has now been erased, in addition to the warning message making no sense. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?55447> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
