Follow-up Comment #14, bug #49703 (project octave):
Interestingly, the "Ctrl-X to display control sequences" seems to work on
Windows. (Tested on Windows 10 VM using Octave 4.4.1.) Though it reports the
same sequence for any modified arrow press. Maybe the macOS build is
intercepting Ctrl-whatever keypresses before they make it to the QTerminal
widget.
