Follow-up Comment #3, bug #55501 (project octave):

Also just confirmed that this is a regression from 4.4.1.

The file which.m call the C++ function __which__ located in help.cc.  It is
the C++ function which is returning the incorrect results which the m-file
then just formats before printing.
