Follow-up Comment #13, bug #55669 (project octave):

I'm not sure that would help me in this case. I can toggle the widget between
docked/undocked state. The issue is that when it is docked again, it goes back
to the same arrangement of docked subwidgets, and I can't alter their
arrangement.
