Details:

Recently upgraded from 4.2.1 prebuilt binary to 4.4.1 prebuilt binary. Started
seeing these segfaults and crashes soon after, which did not occur with 4.2.1.
When crashing, Octave simply disappears, command window, editor and all.
Rarely Windows catches the segfault like in attachment.

64-bit Windows 10 build 17134.
