Hi
Happy New Year.
I was able to compile Octave on Windows with MinGW , but running Octave
doesn't work.
Well, I manage to start it, but here's a litte "screenshot":
GNU Octave, version 2.1.64 (i686-pc-mingw32).

Additional information about Octave is available at http://www.octave.org.

Report bugs to <address@hidden> (but first, please read
http://www.octave.org/bugs.html to learn how to write a helpful report).
And here it stops. I am never entering the "octave-2.1.64>>"-prompt.
Here is a gdb-session as well.
Starting program: d:\Octave\OctaveBin\bin/octave.exe
Program received signal SIGTRAP, Trace/breakpoint trap.
0x77f75a59 in _libmsvcrt_a_iname ()
(gdb) warning: HEAP[octave.exe]:
warning: Invalid Address specified to RtlFreeHeap( 003D0000, 00C14834 )
Why does this error occur?
How can I solve it? Any workarounds?
Cheers,
Ole J.
