No, there is no leak on linux, only on cygwin. I took a look at the
valgrind web page, and it suggests that it works for x86-linux only.
Does anyone have suggestions for good tools to debug this (as john
says, it could very well be a cygwin bug, so the tool needs to
be able to test for memory leaks in system libraries)
