Using a recent checkout of both octave and gnuplot I have a minor issue: 
 I can't use the mouse to rotate 3D plots. I have the following in my 
~/.gnuplot:
  set terminal x11
  set mouse

Is there anything in the octave code that prevents the mouse from being 
active?
