GTK *is* compilable with MSVC. You just need the build
framework to compile it. From a code point of view, there's
no problem.

Good to know. So, if you decide to go with GTK you'll have to maintain a build system that is compatible with MSVC? And second question is: is it tested? There are a lot of things that can go wrong on windows (filename issues, etc).
