Just for the records and no need to immediately be done, if I do a "make maintainer-clean" and after that I do a "hg status" then the output is: 

  ? doc/conf.texi
  ? doc/interpreter/DOC
  ? doc/interpreter/stmp-html
  ? src/parse.output

I'm not sure which of these files/dirs should be kept.
