I still plan to work on it.  Hopefully I have two or three more weekends 
on this other project and then back to octave.

There are still issues with legacy OOP and the new-style stuff will be a 
big project in itself, so it is really unrealistic to hold a stable 
release for any OOP stuff (unless someone else kicks in and does it).
