I'd like to have bug #35114 [1] fixed. Octave 3.5.90 breaks the control 
package, at least on Mac OS X 10.6. Some other platforms may be affected as 
well.
Since I develop the control package on 10.6, breaking it by Octave 3.6.0 would 
be a very frustrating experience for me.
