Hi,

I have a data file (664 MB) which consists of 85 colums, and 727080 rows which I present using plot which is also saved as png files. I am using Windows 7.

Octave-3.7.2+ (MSVC built):
File loading: 232.25 seconds
Plotting (gnuplot): 41.480 seconds
Ghostscript: 9.07

Octave-3.8.1 (MXE built):
File loading: 615.4 seconds
Plotting (gnuplot): 21.465 seconds
Ghostscript: 9.14.
