Build with gcc-4.7 on OSX 10.9.3 using macports for dependencies and selecting
ATLAS for blas/lapack, with java, FLTK and jit disabled.

attached is the relevant part of fntests.log.
The only failures that look nasty are those in
io.tst, but IIRC these are due to the fact that
I am using __run_test_suite__ instead of "make check".
