You're quite right, there is still room for improvement and I intend to 
do it when I can find the time...

But the current version already brings several useful bugfixes. 
Releasing it would stop the proliferation of broken links, and perhaps 
also raise some useful remarks / questions / bug reports from package 
maintainers...

It's up to you.
