I notice that currently Ctrl-Q and Ctrl-O are listed under the GUI
"File" dropdown menu, but have no action _when the main window is in
focus_. If the editor window is in focus, these two shortcut keys work.

This behavior depends on the setting
"Disable global shortcuts when terminal has focus"
in the shortcuts pane. When active, shortcuts are disabled in order to
have them available for readline. When this setting is disabled, the
shortcuts should work as expected.

OK, that's good. I notice that some shortcuts still work (the ones with numbers, e.g., cntl+shift+0). That's fine too. Could we make the small project be "gray the appropriate shortcut tags when global keys are not active"?

Another thing I just noticed is that typing "Cancel" in the dialog box after doing Cntl-O from the main window will put the focus into the editor. The focus should probably go back to the window before the dialog was put on screen.

So that's a couple small projects.
