their status accordingly. The problem in not submitting your patches myself
is that I was no "domain expert" of your statistics area and was rather
interested in your patches. Anyone here is working on Octave "for fun".

You seem very active for quite a while, even submitted lots of patches and
functions to the statistics package for example. Maybe you should ask at
Savannah to join the Octave group to also obtain more privileges in changing
bug reports, add code to the Octave repository and alike. At least I would
support this.
