As expected all seems well with 4.0.1-rc1: I just did the
standard install sequence and ran some tests including
various plots (using fltk). All looks good.

This all under current updated Fedora 23 x86_64.
(It has the Intel graphics which crashes if print of
a plot with "visible on."   "visible off" works correctly
as before.)
