Not to discourage you, but this is a difficult mathematical task. If
as you seem to imply you have been spending a lot of time acquiring
deep knowledge of programming languages and programming competitions,
then I am skeptical that you have had the time to also acquire the
familiarity with mathematics that this task requires.

Unless I am much mistaken and you are perfectly comfortable with
meromorphic functions of linear operators regardless of the spectral
distribution of the latter, I would suggest a different task.
