Using the Windows zip file for 4.0.1, it tells me:
>> pkg list
no packages installed.
Even though there are a number of packages present, it seems there's no octave_packages file located in
C:\Octave\octave-4.0.0\share\octave
A quick "pkg rebuild" takes care of it, but was this intentional? If so seems it would be worth adding to the README.html that used to have the instructions about running build_packages.m
Also, is this just the case with the zip version, or is it the same with the .exe installer?
