Hi Sebastian,
I can confirm that the problem is independent from plot operation.
I've simply started up Octave and then tried to quit it with "exit". The
same happens if you try to close it via finder "close window" button.
However, I have to say that I didn't try the "exit" test before packages
were installed. I'm not sure if this can help but just in case...
